Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia since 1979, Pope & Land celebrated 40 successful years of business throughout metro Atlanta as well as the Southeastern U.S. on September 28. To commemorate this milestone occasion, it hosted a give back to the community event for Pajama Program Reading Center/Atlanta, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that believes that every child, no matter their circumstances, has the inherent right to a loving good night, complete with the comforting bedtime ritual of changing into new pajamas and enjoying an enchanting story. Pajama Program offers children affected by instability the unconditional, magical gifts of new pajamas and new books so that they can enjoy the greatest benefit of a loving bedtime and peaceful good night: a fulfilling good day. After all, good nights are good days.

Thanks to the generous donations made by Pope & Land employees during the month of November, dozens of pajamas and books were collected for children of all ages, infants to 18 years old, and donated to the Fulton County DFCS (Division of Family and Children Services) office, which is responsible for welfare and employment support, protecting children, foster care and other services to strengthen families.
