Pope & Land Responsibilities: As founder and Chairman of Pope & Land Enterprises, Inc., Mr. Land oversees his continued legacy of commercial real estate development and investment in the Southeast.
Professional Experience: Mr. Land has 50 years of real estate experience. In January of 1979, he and Larry Kelly formed Pope & Land Enterprises, Inc. for the development of commercial and residential projects in the Southeast. As Chairman, Mr. Land has led Pope & Land to the forefront of the region in terms of innovative development and investment.
Education: Mr. Land received a B.S. degree from Georgia Tech in 1960, a Doctor of Law degree from Emory University in 1963, and graduated from the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program in 1978.
Membership: Mr. Land is a past member of the Georgia Bar Association and the Atlanta and Cobb County Board of Realtors as well as a past Trustee of the Georgia Tech Foundation and Randolph College.
Personal: Mr. Land lives in Vinings with his wife, Lynne. They have two adult children and three adult grandchildren.
