On May 28, the members of the Town Center CID Board of Directors, the Town Center Community Alliance Board of Trustees and Advisory Board members met to lay the plaque commemorating the founding members of the Alliance.
The Town Center Community Alliance announced the official dedication of Founders Park, the first linear park in the Town Center area.
Located at the corner of Roberts Boulevard and Vaughn Road just north of Barrett Parkway, this linear park adds a shade structure, additional bikes for the Town Center bike share program, seating, landscaping and more along the Noonday Creek Trail.
In 2015, the Alliance was created by the Town Center Community Improvement District as a way to shape the future of Town Center by supporting and funding beautification, greenspace and other quality of life initiatives.
The park pays tribute to the founding members of the Alliance and their vision for quality of life and greenspace in the Town Center area. On May 28, the members of the Town Center CID Board of Directors, the Alliance Board of Trustees and Advisory Board members met to lay the plaque commemorating those members.
