James Campbell Co. Acquires Cumberland Center

Pope & Land Enterprises Sells Ownership of Atlanta Office Asset

James Campbell Co., a Hawaii-based commercial real estate company, purchased the Cumberland Center IV building at 3225 Cumberland Blvd. SE in Atlanta, GA from Pope & Land Enterprises. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The 10-story, Class A office complex was constructed in 1998 and totals 237,000 SF in the Cumberland/Galleria submarket.

The property is 98 percent occupied and houses the headquarters for lead tenant RaceTrac, as well as Medtronic and Eye Consultants of Atlanta, among others.

William Yowell and Tom Shafer of CBRE led the team that represented Atlanta-based seller Pope & Land Enterprises.

Demish Fish, Lee Evans and Scott O-Halloran of Colliers International Atlanta will lead the leasing efforts on behalf of James Campbell Co. Tammy Ruppel and Laura Halbrook will head up the property management team.

“Cumberland Center IV is one of the premier office buildings in the Northwest/Cumberland office submarket, with first-class amenities and exceptional access to I-75 from Cumberland Boulevard and I-285 from Cobb Parkway,” said Fish. “The building also offers tenants an advanced telecommunications infrastructure and proximity to the prime residential neighborhoods of Buckhead, Vinings and West and East Cobb County.”
